Shockwave

Radial Shockwave therapy is an effective non-surgical treatment for painful disorders.

Shock Wave therapy is has traditionally been used by medical professionals to treat kidney stones. In recent times, it has been used in physiotherapy and orthopaedics to treat musculoskeletal conditions – particularly tendon injuries and pain.

Shock Wave therapy is believed to promote a healing environment in injured tissue by stimulating the growth of new blood vessels, growth factors, increasing cell proliferation and reducing inflammatory markers.

We do not charge extra cost for Shockwave therapy, it will be included as part of your physiotherapy consultation.
